Priests for Religious Life
The evangelical counsels of chastity dedicated to God, poverty and obedience, based upon the words and examples of the Lord are a divine gift that the Church received from her Lord and that with His grace conserves always (cf. LG 43).
We, as religious, participate in this special gift of grace that – as the Second Vatican Council teaches – belongs to the life and sanctity of the Church (cf. LG 44). Grateful for this gift, we understand its importance for the life and the holiness of the Church.
In the mission of the Church, the religious priests have exercised a special care over religious life. Their life is based on the total dedication to God, loved beyond all things. They are ordained to the honor and service of God (cf. LG 44). Following this venerable tradition of the Church, we place ourselves at the service of other religious.
According to the singularity of our ignatian spirituality and the charism of discipleship, we serve religious life with the joy of enriching ecclesial communion and contributing in this way to the sanctity of the Church and its mission to evangelize.
We offer religious:
- Spiritual and theological formation through spiritual direction and permanent formation.
- Direction of Spiritual Exercise according to the method of St. Ignatius of Loyola.
- Assistance as chaplains and confessors to religious communities.
